April 29, 2008 IUP Football Golf Classic Brochure and Registration Form
The IUP football program will hold its Ninth Annual Football Golf Classic on June 26 at Tom's Run Golf Course at Chestnut Ridge Golf Club and will honor the memory of Larry Panaia. Panaia passed away on January 13, 2008, after a lifetime devoted to IUP and especially the football program. He played from 1961-64 and later served as an assistant coach for 13 seasons. He was also a past president of the Foundation for IUP Board of Directors. "Larry Panaia touched so many lives beginning at IUP and extending far beyond that," said IUP head coach Lou Tepper. "It is truly special to honor Larry and his family at the 2008 IUP Football Golf Classic." The registration desk will open at 10:30 a.m., followed by lunch at 11. Tee off using a shamble format will begin at noon. Later that afternoon, cocktails will be served at 4:30 followed by dinner at 5:00. The outing will also include a raffle, 50/50 drawing and silent auction. The deadline for registering for the IUP Football Golf Classic is June 19 by using the registration form above.
