April 14, 2008 Team Standings Individual Standings Ryan Kennedy and Cory Stelick both shot even par scores of 71 to help IUP take a lead over Millersville following the opening round of the IUP-Cecil Spadafora Invitational at the Indiana Country Club. IUP had a team of of 292 to hold a three-shot margin over Millersville going into Tuesday's second and final round. West Liberty State and Clarion are another shot back at 296 while Concord is fifth at 299. Kennedy and Stelick are tied for the individual lead with Millersville's Corey Gast and Jeff Varga of St. Vincent. Gavin Smith, who was won three event titles this season, is one shot back at 72 in a group with Darryn DeShong of Millersville, Matt Hicks of West Liberty State and Andrew Mehler of Concord. IUP's Nic Milito and Joe Pelland both shot rounds of 78 and Leo Acklin finished at 80. Following the top five in the team standings are St. Vincent (301), California (305), Duquesne (306), Allegheny (309), West Chester (319), West Virginia Wesleyan (320) and Seton Hill (337). |
