April 12, 2008 Alex Slinkard scored four goals and added an assist but nine different Shippensburg players found the net in a 15-9 Raider victory over the Crimson Hawks Saturday at Miller Stadium. Amanda Fetter and Alex Nocella added two goals each for IUP (2-9, 1-8 PSAC) while Lauren Abbott scored once. Fetter also had a pair of assists and Lauren Montague had one helper for the Crimson Hawks. Slinkard leads IUP on the season with 17 goals. Fetter and Abbott are tied for second with 14. Liz DiNunno led Shippensburg (3-8, 3-6) with five goals and Katie Irwin had three. Katie Lee helped keep IUP in the game with 21 saves while also making three interceptions. IUP plays at Gannon on Monday night in a non-conference game. |
