April 14, 2008 Lauren Abbott and Alex Slinkard scored goals for IUP and Katie Lee made 13 saves in a 23-2 loss to Gannon in a non-conference game Monday night in Erie. The Crimson Hawks dropped to 2-10 on the season while the Golden Knights, ranked seventh in the nation, are 7-3. Mary Eshenour led Gannon with six goals followed by Colleen Dixon and Taryn Millerd with four. Kayla Nelson had eight assists. Lee faced 47 goals in goal. Shauna Hutchinson had eight saves for Gannon. IUP is on the road again Wednesday at East Stroudsburg before hosting Bloomsburg on Friday at 4 p.m. |
