Mandy Koch and Lori Neyhard hit home runs in the first inning to stake Bloomsburg to an early lead, and the Huskies went on to a 6-0 win over IUP to eliminate the Crimson Hawks from the PSAC tournament.

IUP finishes its season with a record of 17-26 while Bloomsburg advances to the final day of the tournament with a record of 47-8.

Kristen Tunno had two of IUP's three hits with Brittany Allman adding the third. Erin Holloway, who shut out California with a two-hitter earlier in the day, allowed only three hits in five innings but walked three and gave up the two round trippers.

Koch hit a two-run shot and Neyhard added a solo homer in the bottom of the first to give the Huskies all the runs they would need for pitcher Sheelin Fisher. Jen Miller drove in a run with a sacrifice fly in a two-run fourth and Casey Massimini had an RBI single in the fifth.

Fisher retired the first nine IUP batters before Tunno singled to lead off the fourth. Allman singled to start the sixth but was doubled off first on a lineout by Jenny Rodgers.
