IUP wrapped up its 2007 volleyball season Saturday with a 3-1 loss at Slippery Rock. The Crimson Hawks won the second game to even the match before falling 30-19, 28-30, 30-11, 30-13 to finish at 16-22 on the year. Tessa Irwin had eight kills and Tessa Siewert had seven as both concluded their solid freshman campaigns. Siewert also had seven digs and two aces and Irwin made two blocks. Emily Pany had a team-high 19 digs and was joined in double figures in that category by Laura Robinette with 14. Chelsey Kreinbrook had 24 assists and Sandy Rambow made three blocks. |
